Blood donation is a vital part of the health of our community. Did you know blood donations must come from volunteer blood donors like you? If someone needs a transfusion, there isn’t a substitute or magic solution. That life-saving liquid that goes on to save someone’s parent, friend, coworker or neighbor comes from a life serve blood donor. It only takes an hour to save 3 local lives.

Blood Donor Eligibility Guide
General Eligibility Requirements
All donors should be in overall good health, and are encouraged to be rested and well-nourished at the time of donation.
- Donors must be at least 16 years of age. For first-time donors, 16 and 17 year-olds must have a LIfeServe Blood Center permission form signed by a parent or guardian.
- Must weigh at least 120 pounds
- Donors cannot be under the influence of alcohol at the time of donation, cannot be taking an antibiotic or have a cold.
