Presence Under the Christmas Tree
The St. Vincent de Paul Committee will partner with Altoona Elementary to help families in need at Christmas.
Sign up to adopt a child. There will be paper slips with a child's gift ideas available after Masses the weekends of November 23/24 and November 30/December 1st. Paper slips are gone, but you can still sign-up online via Sign-up Genius!
Pick out a child to help this Christmas. Please wrap and tag the gifts you purchase with the family and child numbers (for example, Family A10 Child 1). Also include what gift is inside the package. If you have a paper slip, be sure to attach it to your gift(s).This helps the volunteers who are collecting and sorting the gifts.
The gifts are due back to Ss. John and Paul the weekend of December 7-8.
There will be a check-in table in the gathering space when you come to Mass, or gifts can be dropped off in Founders Hall. If possible, do not bring the gifts back early, as we do not have the storage space! Be sure to attach your slip to your gift(s)! The St. Vincent de Paul Committee will sort gifts on Sunday afternoon for distribution on Monday, December 9.

Warm Kids, Warm Hearts
Spread warmth by donating new or gently used winter outerwear to be given free to kids in the Southeast Polk district.
Items needed:
- Winter Coats
- Waterproof gloves
- Snow pants
- Hats and Scarves
- Snow boots
Place donations in the bins in the gathering space when you come to Mass from November 9-24.
