Saturday, January 18, 2025 | After 5 pm Mass

Come one, come all! The Knights of Columbus will host a Chili Cook-off on Saturday, January 18th after 5 pm Mass, in St. Francis Hall.

Contest Entry:

• Email Bill Ludwig or call him at 515-520-9682 to register for the contest or for more information.
• Your $5 entry fee will be given back for first, second and third place prizes. 
• Each contestant should provide a crock pot of chili, dropped off in St. Francis kitchen prior to 5 pm Mass. 

Prizes

• Cash payout from the entry fees:
  • First Place: 50%
  • Second Place: 30%
  • Third Place: 20%
• Other glamorous prizes (to be announced)

All are invited!

This event is open to everyone in the parish! For those who don't wish to participate in the contest, please come and eat for a free will offering! Enjoy some good food, conversation with your fellow parishioners, and support the parish!

• The Knights will provide chili fixings (shredded cheese, sour cream, crackers, oyster crackers). 
• For those who are not chili aficionados, chicken noodle soup will also be served. 
• Cost is a free will offering.
• Donations of cookies or cinnamon rolls for dessert are welcome!

All proceeds will go to paying down the Ss. John and Paul mortgage.
