Shrove Tuesday started with the burning of the palms in preparation for Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Then we went inside for a Mardi Gras celebration including pancake supper and activities for young and old alike. The evening ended with a parade and the burying of the Alleluia banner. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus who prepared and served the delicious pancake supper.
