Although heavy rains kept us from going outdoors to burn the palms, we still had a festive evening! After celebrating Mass, we enjoyed a pancake supper and ice cream sundaes, games, crafts and balloon creations before lining up for our Mardi Gras parade! We ended in the gathering space to bury the Alleluia, have a closing prayer and leave silently to signify the beginning of Lent.
