Schedule of Triduum Liturgies
For us Christians, the “three days,” the “Triduum,” are at the heart of our year. In accord with the Jewish reckoning of time, the three days begin with sundown Thursday and conclude with sundown Sunday. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ's Paschal Mystery.
We encourage you to enter deeply into the spirit of Holy Week by participating in the Triduum Liturgies. Join us for any or all of the services.
Holy Thursday
March 28 | 7 pm
Mass of the Lord's Supper
On Holy Thursday, we hear
three key stories of our faith.
The first reading relates the
story of the Passover from
the Old Testament.
The second reading from1
Corinthians tells us the story
of Jesus instituting the Eucharist
at the Last Supper. The gospel
tells another chapter of what
happened at the Last Supper –
Jesus washing the feet
of his disciples.
Good Friday
March 29 | 7 pm
The Passion of the Lord
Adoration of the Cross
Holy Communion
On Good Friday, we do not
celebrate Mass. During the
Good Friday service, we
remember Jesus’ Passion –
his suffering and death.
We pray for the Church
and the world,
and we venerate the cross.
We receive previously consecrated Communion and depart in silence.Holy Saturday
March 30 | 8:30 pm
Easter Vigil
We gather at the Easter fire,
recalling how God led the Israelites
“by a pillar of fire by night.”
Now Jesus, the true light of the world,
leads us with this Easter light.
Easter Sunday
March 31 | 8:30 am & 10:30 am
The Resurrection of the Lord
He is risen!
He is risen, indeed!
